Kevin Costner’s children joined him to support his new film at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival.
On Sunday, May 19, the 69-year-old Yellowstone star was accompanied on the red carpet by five of his seven children for the screening of his latest film, Horizon: An American Saga, which received a 10-minute standing ovation.
Dressed in a bespoke black suit and bowtie by BRIONI, Costner stood between his son Hayes, 15, and daughter Grace, 13. His daughter Annie, 40, posed next to his son Cayden, 17, while daughter Lily, 37, stood beside Hayes. The family beamed as they prepared to enter the venue, marking a rare public appearance together.

After the screening, Costner addressed the audience, expressing how special the moment was because of his children’s presence.
“I’ll never forget this,” he shared, with his children seated in the front row. “They all look so beautiful, dressed up so nicely. The women, the men—they’re so handsome.”
Costner shares daughters Annie and Lily, and son Joe, 36, with ex-wife Cindy Silva. He is also the father to son Liam, 26, with ex Bridget Rooney, and his youngest children Cayden, Hayes, and Grace with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.
In August, Costner spent a day at the Dallas Cowboys training camp with one of his sons, sharing a photo on Instagram. Walking across the field, Costner wore a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves, while his son sported a blue T-shirt and jeans.
“Had a ball at #CowboysCamp with my son,” he captioned the photo. “Thank you @dallascowboys for having us!”
On May 1, 2023, Baumgartner filed for divorce from the Dances with Wolves star after 18 years of marriage.
By September, the former couple had settled their divorce following a contentious legal battle spanning several months.
“Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings,” a representative for Costner stated in a joint statement.
Throughout the four-plus months, Costner and Baumgartner appeared in court to resolve details and payments regarding everything from Baumgartner’s move out of their Santa Barbara family compound to child-support payments from the Field of Dreams actor.
