Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey have reportedly purchased George Clooney’s former mansion in Los Angeles for a staggering $14.5 million, according to a report on September 29, 2024. The celebrity couple, who recently tied the knot, now own the Fryman Canyon estate, which Clooney had owned for nearly 30 years. The property is not only massive but also secluded, surrounded by dense trees, making it a private retreat for the newlyweds.
The mansion spans 7,000 square feet and boasts six bedrooms, offering ample space for any potential future family expansion. The estate also features a separate guest house, a luxurious pool, and a tennis court. This impressive property sits on a 3.1-acre plot, making it a haven of privacy and luxury.
Clooney, 63, originally purchased the mansion in 1995 from Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks for $2.2 million. Over the years, Clooney has accumulated a portfolio of properties across the globe, including homes in Italy, Mexico, England, New York City, and France. Despite selling his Los Angeles mansion, Clooney still maintains an extensive real estate presence internationally.
Olivia Culpo, 32, and Christian McCaffrey, 28, finalized the purchase shortly after their summer wedding in Rhode Island. The couple’s decision to purchase the mansion is seen as part of their new chapter together. Culpo, a former Miss Universe and reality TV star of The Culpo Sisters, had previously expressed her desire to start a family, hinting in an interview last year that she planned to “rip out her IUD” and begin trying immediately after the wedding. Culpo is no stranger to luxury real estate. Before McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2022, she had already purchased a $3.5 million mansion in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles.
